FrSky 900MHz Mini Receiver – R9 Mini
FrSky released the smallest receiver for their 900Mhz Long Range System – R9 mini. With a size of 16*10mm and the weight of only 1.1g it is by far the smallest LRS receiver on the market.
This LRS receiver has SBUS output and 4CH PWM analog outputs, S.Port input for telemetry, Supports F.Port connection to the FC (with special firmware). Outputs RSSI on one of the channels, has redundancy function.
Update 2018-06-11:
“U.FL” antenna connector on the FrSky R9 mini is smaller than regular U.FL connector. Probably it is W.FL connector. More about the differencies on U.FL and W.FL connectors read here: https://www.digikey.com/en/ptm/h/hirose-electric/u_fl-and-w_fl-series-connectors
FPORT firmware can be found here: https://www.frsky-rc.com/r9-mini/
Special sale price is only $9.99

Thanks for the useful information. I fly F4 boards without a telemetry pad so I have to use the uninverted signal pad on the receiver. Does the R9 mini have such a pad? If so, where is it located?
I don’t have information about uninverted signal pads on R9 mini so far. I dont know yet, but I will update when I find out.
Meanwhile I would suggest you to try the R9 mini firmware with FPORT support (firmware can be found: https://www.frsky-rc.com/r9-mini/). Using FPORT you will have two way communication between the FC and RX and you will have telemetry with only one wire connection. But you still will have to worry about the inverted/uninverted SBUS inputs on your F4 board. (Read more about FPORT here: http://www.multirotorguide.com/news/frsky-new-fport-protocol/)
